Biography
Natalie Mitchell is a British screenwriter and playwright. She began her career in theatre as a writer and producer before joining the final BBC Writers’ Academy in 2012.
Her television credits include more than 50 episodes of EastEnders since 2013, as well as episodes of Holby City, Doctors, Ackley Bridge and Waterloo Road. She is a core writer on EastEnders and has contributed to story conferences.
Her theatre work includes Germ Free Adolescent, nominated for a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award, and When They Go Low for the National Theatre Connections programme. Radio credits include plays for BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4, and the audio drama The Piper, nominated for the Tinniswood Award.
