Biography
Nathalie Delon was a French actress, model, film director and writer. Born Francine Canovas on 1 August 1941 in Oujda, then in the French Protectorate of Morocco, she worked as a model before entering film.
She made her acting debut as Jane Lagrange opposite Alain Delon in Jean-Pierre Melville's Le Samouraï (1967). She appeared in around thirty films, including an uncredited role in Army of Shadows (1969), When Eight Bells Toll (1971) and Bluebeard (1972). Delon directed two films of her own: They Call It an Accident (1982) and Sweet Lies (1988). She was married to actor Alain Delon from 1964 to 1969.
