Biography
Nathan Andrew Jacobs, also credited as Nathan A. Jacobs, is a writer, producer and director. He co-wrote two episodes, including the pilot, of the Amazon Studios series House of David (2025) and served as co-executive producer on nine episodes.
Jacobs trained as a fine artist at the Maryland Institute College of Art and holds advanced degrees in philosophy and religion, including a Ph.D. He previously worked in the video game industry on concept art and related roles, and taught as a professor of philosophy and religion while publishing books and articles. He wrote and directed the feature comedy Killing Poe (2016) and the documentary Becoming Truly Human (2017), and contributed animation to The Jesus Music (2021). His work led to a first-look deal with The Wonder Project and his involvement in House of David.
