Biography
Nathan Wang is an American composer born on 8 August 1956 in Los Angeles. He graduated from Pomona College and studied at Oxford University on a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholarship (also reported as a Fulbright Fellowship).
Wang has scored numerous films and television productions in both Hollywood and Asia. His credits include She's the Man (2006), The Game Plan (2007), Detective Chinatown 2 (2018) and Detective Chinatown 3 (2021), as well as several Jackie Chan films such as Rumble in the Bronx (1995) and Who Am I? (1998). He has also composed for Steven Spielberg documentaries.
He has received two Emmy Awards, for the Showtime film Reefer Madness (2005) and the PBS documentary Pancho Barnes (2011), and a CableACE Award for the soundtrack to The Lost Children of Berlin (1997).
