Biography
Neda Armian is an American film and television producer. She graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia and began her career in the film industry as a production assistant on Jonathan Demme’s Philadelphia (1993). She has maintained a long collaboration with Demme, later serving as producer or co-producer on several of his projects.
Armian’s producing credits include The Truth About Charlie (2002), Rachel Getting Married (2008), Why Stop Now? (2012), The Longest Week (2014), The Ballad of Lefty Brown (2017) and Aporia (2023). She has also produced documentaries such as Beah: A Black Woman Speaks (2003) and the series Murder on Middle Beach (2020). She is based in New York.
