Biography
Neil Smith is a film editor. He graduated with a degree in Drama from the University of Hull and began his career in London, initially working as a runner before becoming an editor.
In 2006 he co-founded the editing company Work Editorial in London with partners including Rich Orrick and Bill Smedley. The company later opened offices in New York and Los Angeles; Smith moved to Los Angeles in 2015 to establish its West Coast base. He has maintained a long collaboration with director Rupert Sanders.
His feature editing credits include Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), Ghost in the Shell (2017), The Crow (2024) and Killer Heat (2024). He has also edited commercials and received multiple awards for his work.
