Biography
Nerio Bernardi (23 July 1899 – 12 January 1971) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in nearly 200 films between 1918 and 1970. Born in Bologna, he died in Rome.
Bernardi began his career in silent films and later worked extensively in theatre, including productions directed by Max Reinhardt. He also taught at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico in Rome. His film roles include the Agency Director in Purple Noon (1960), a soldier in El Cid (1961), and parts in Fan-Fan the Tulip (1952) and Thérèse Raquin (1953).
