Biography
Nic Sheff is an American writer. He is the author of the memoirs Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines (2008) and We All Fall Down: Living with Addiction (2011), as well as the young adult novels Schizo (2014) and Harmony House (2016). He was born on 20 July 1982 in San Francisco, California.
Sheff has written for television series including The Killing (2013), Recovery Road (2016) and 13 Reasons Why (2017–2018), on which he also served as story editor and co-producer. He was a consultant on the 2018 film Beautiful Boy, adapted from his father David Sheff's memoir and based in part on his own experiences.
