Biography
Nicholas Carella is a Canadian actor, writer, producer and director. Born on 20 August 1980 in Toronto, Ontario, he co-founded the Ante-M Theatre company with Michelle Ouellet after graduation and produced independent theatre productions in the city for nearly a decade.
He has appeared in more than sixty television series and films. His credits include recurring roles in Bates Motel, Harper's Island, Shut Eye and Mistresses, and guest appearances in The Good Doctor, Supernatural, Smallville, Fringe, Once Upon a Time, Wayward Pines and V. Film roles include Prodigals, Buffaloed and Fat Jerry in Karate Kid: Legends (2025).
Carella has received award nominations including Best Actor at the Canadian Comedy Awards for Hooked on Speedman and Best Supporting Actor at the Leo Awards for Afterparty. He is married to Michelle Ouellet.
