Biography
Nick Brimble is an English actor. Born in Bristol, he attended Bristol Grammar School and studied Philosophy and English Literature at the University of Sussex, graduating with an MA. He briefly taught English and Drama at the University of Baghdad before returning to the UK to pursue acting from 1968 onwards.
Brimble has worked extensively in theatre, television, film and voice work. He is known for roles including Horst in the series Crossbow (1987–1989), the monster in Frankenstein Unbound (1990), Little John in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), and Jack Chapman in Grantchester (2014–present). Other credits include A Knight's Tale (2001) and appearances in series such as Space: 1999, The Professionals, Doc Martin and Lock, Stock....
He is one of three acting brothers; the others are Ian Brimble and Vincent Brimble.
