Biography
Nick Ellis (1962–2020) was a British production designer. He worked on feature films including Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Bride & Prejudice (2004), Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008) and Blinded by the Light (2019).
Earlier in his career Ellis designed commercials and the short film Killing Joe (1999). He received a Production Designer of the Year award for an advertisement for Pretty Polly.
Ellis was born in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He died in 2020 after a short illness.
