Biography
Nicole Byer is an American comedian, actress, television host and podcaster. Born on 29 August 1986 in Middletown Township, New Jersey, she trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.
She first gained recognition in the early 2010s through appearances on MTV programmes including Girl Code (2013). Byer starred in the semi-autobiographical series Loosely Exactly Nicole (2016–2018) and has hosted the Netflix competition series Nailed It! (2018–2022), receiving multiple Primetime Emmy Award nominations. She has provided voice work for animated series such as The Simpsons, Invincible, Family Guy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, BoJack Horseman, The Good Place, Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Archer, and appeared in films including Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016). Byer also hosts podcasts including Why Won't You Date Me? and voiced Beverly Onion in the 2025 film The Twits.
