Biography
Nicole Hirsch Whitaker is a cinematographer. She graduated with a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and began her career as a still photographer before moving into commercials and second-unit work on feature films.
Her narrative credits include Bad Sisters (2022), for which she shot three episodes, Shining Vale (2022), Perpetual Grace LTD (2019), Jupiter’s Legacy (2021) and One Piece (2023). Documentary work includes Girl Rising (2013) and Cobain: Montage of Heck (2015), both of which earned her shared Emmy nominations. She joined the American Society of Cinematographers in 2022.
Whitaker is married to cinematographer James Whitaker.
