Biography
Nicole Maurey (20 December 1925 – 11 March 2016) was a French actress. Born in Bois-Colombes, a suburb of Paris, she began her career as a dancer before making her film debut in 1945. She appeared in around 65 film and television productions between 1945 and 1997.
Maurey is known for her role as Miss Louise in Diary of a Country Priest (1951). She later worked in Hollywood, co-starring with Charlton Heston in Secret of the Incas (1954) and Bing Crosby in Little Boy Lost (1953). Other notable films include The Scapegoat (1959) and The Day of the Triffids (1963). She was married to actor Jacques Gallo from 1950 to 1960. In later years she appeared in television productions.
