Biography
Nino Oliviero (13 February 1918 – 29 February 1980) was an Italian composer. Born in Naples, he began his career after the Second World War composing Neapolitan songs such as "'Nu quarto 'e luna" and "'O ciucciariello".
From the 1960s he worked on film soundtracks. He co-composed the score for Mondo Cane (1962) with Riz Ortolani; the theme "More" (originally "Ti guarderò nel cuore") was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song and won a Grammy Award. He later scored films including Mondo Cane 2 (1963) and Vincente Minnelli's A Matter of Time (1976).
