Biography
Noah Harpster is an American actor, writer, producer and director. He trained at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with a BFA in acting in 1998.
He is known for his work on the Amazon series Transparent (2014–2019), where he wrote, produced and acted, and for co-writing the screenplay for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019) with Micah Fitzerman-Blue. He has also acted in One Mississippi (2015–2017) as Remy and For All Mankind (2019–2023) as Bill Strausser. With Fitzerman-Blue he co-wrote Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019) and created the Netflix limited series Painkiller (2023).
Their work on Transparent earned a Peabody Award, with further recognition including a PEN Award and Humanitas Prize for the A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood screenplay.
