Biography
Nora Denney, also credited as Dodo Denney, was an American actress. Born Dolores Teachenor on 3 September 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri, she died on 20 November 2005.
Her career began in Kansas City when she was hired by local station KCMO-TV to play Marilyn the Witch, hosting horror films. She appeared in television series including Green Acres, Bewitched, Get Smart, Hart to Hart and That Girl, and in films such as Who's Minding the Mint? (1967), I Walk the Line (1970), Splash (1984) and Ride with the Devil (1999). She played Mrs Teevee in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971).
She was married to Alan Denney, an art director and illustrator for Hallmark Greeting Cards; their sons Dix and John founded the punk rock band The Weirdos.
