Biography
Odette Roger was a French actress. Born Thérèse Marie Louise Vin on 1 January 1900 in Marseille, she appeared in supporting roles in French films of the 1930s, particularly those directed by Marcel Pagnol.
She played Fortunette in Fanny (1932), Marie in Jofroi (1933), the hotel servant in César (1936), Alphonsine in Harvest (1937), Miette in The Baker's Wife (1938) and Aunt Clarisse Fabre in Heartbeat (1938). She also appeared in Tartarin de Tarascon (1934) and The Strange Monsieur Victor (1938). Roger maintained a parallel stage career at the Alcazar de Marseille.
Her later screen credits include roles in Forbidden Fruit (1952) and Ce soir les jupons volent... (1956). She died on 24 August 1985 in La Penne-sur-Huveaune.
