Biography
Ole Christian Madsen is a Danish film director and screenwriter. Born on 18 June 1966 in Roskilde, he graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in its "Golden Year" alongside Thomas Vinterberg and Per Fly. He began his career directing television series before making his feature debut with Sinan's Wedding (1997).
His feature films include Kira's Reason: A Love Story (2001), which won Bodil and Robert awards, Angels in Fast Motion (2005), Prague (2006), Flame & Citron (2008) and SuperClásico (2011). On television he has directed episodes of Rejseholdet, Edderkoppen and ten episodes of the American series Banshee (2013–2016), on which he also served as executive producer.
