Biography
Olenka Denysenko is a director and filmmaker. She directed one episode of the NBC series The Blacklist in 2023, two episodes of New Amsterdam in 2022, and one episode of Chicago Med in 2025.
She began her career directing short films, including The Summons (2009), Alternate Sides (2012), Goodbye, Sweetheart (2013) and The Mole (2018). Several of these screened at film festivals. Earlier credits include work as a script supervisor on films such as Sinister (2012) and Liberal Arts (2012).
Denysenko was raised in New York City and holds a BA from New York University. She received the Hollywood Trident Fellowship to study at the LA Film School.
