Biography
Olga Grey (also credited as Olga Gray, and born Anushka Zacsek or Anna Zacsek) was an American silent film actress. She was born on 10 November 1896 in New York City to Hungarian immigrant parents. She began her career as an extra and made her first film appearance in the 1915 short His Lesson.
Grey appeared in around thirty films between 1915 and 1920. She had an uncredited role as Laura Keene in The Birth of a Nation (1915) and played Mary Magdalene in the Judean Story section of Intolerance: Love's Struggle Throughout the Ages (1916). Other credits include Macbeth (1916) and The Woman God Forgot (1917).
She left acting after marrying film actor Arnold Gregg in 1920. Under her birth name Anna Zacsek she later qualified as an attorney and, in 1942, was one of the defence lawyers in the Sleepy Lagoon trials; she was the only woman attorney in the courtroom.
