Biography
Oliver Wong Yui-Man (1952–2012) was a Hong Kong production designer and art director. He began his career in the late 1970s and worked extensively with Jackie Chan on films such as Police Story (1985), Rumble in the Bronx (1995), Who Am I? (1998) and New Police Story (2004). He served as production designer on Stephen Chow’s Kung Fu Hustle (2004) and CJ7 (2008), and also contributed to The Myth (2005) and Shinjuku Incident (2009).
Wong won Golden Horse Awards for Best Art Direction for Life After Life (1982) and Police Story 2 (1988). Born in British Hong Kong, he died in Hong Kong in 2012.
