Biography
Olivier Massart is a Belgian actor and screenwriter. Born on 2 December 1969 in Gosselies, he trained at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, where he received a first prize in dramatic art, and was active in the Belgian Improvisation League.
Massart co-wrote the screenplay for André Téchiné’s Wild Reeds (1994), which received a César Award for Best Original Screenplay or Adaptation. He has appeared in numerous film and television roles, including Tania’s doctor in Sentinelle (2021), the history and geography teacher in La Colle (2017), and a fifty-something man in Sleepless Night (2011). Other credits include Ducoboo 3 (2020) and Eugénie Grandet (2021).
