Biography
Omar Brignoli is an Italian actor from the Bergamo area. He played the role of Minec in Ermanno Olmi’s The Tree of Wooden Clogs (1978).
The film cast local non-professional performers. Brignoli, then seven years old and from Palosco, was selected among many children for the part. In a 2018 interview he recalled being reluctant to spend days away from his friends during filming and being encouraged with gifts of toys.
