Biography
Orhan Güner is a Turkish actor. He was born on 17 August 1954 in Ankara and began his career in German theatre in the 1980s. He has worked as an actor, playwright, dramaturg and director, notably with the Turkish ensemble at the Schaubühne Berlin, and has also undertaken literary translations.
Güner is known for his role as the bus driver in Fatih Akın's Head-On (2004). His television credits include Hüseyin Soydere in Endless Love (2015–2017) and the lead role of Izzet Merdan in Galip Derviş (2013–2014). He has appeared in multiple episodes of the German crime series Tatort and other productions, and lives in Berlin.
