Biography
Ornella Muti, born Francesca Romana Rivelli on 9 March 1955 in Rome, is an Italian actress. She began modelling as a teenager and made her film debut in 1970 in The Most Beautiful Wife.
She has worked primarily in Italian cinema, appearing in films directed by Mario Monicelli, Dino Risi and Marco Ferreri among others. Muti is best known internationally for her role as Princess Aura in Flash Gordon (1980). Other credits include Oscar (1991), The Taming of the Scoundrel (1980) and To Rome with Love (2012).
