Biography
Pang Liwei (also credited as Liwei Pang or 庞丽薇) is a Chinese film producer and general manager of Zhang Yimou’s studio. She began working in film in 2005 as a director’s assistant on Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles and has since produced or executive-produced several of Zhang Yimou’s features, including Shadow (2018), One Second (2020), Cliff Walkers (2021), Snipers (2022) and Full River Red (2023).
She has also contributed to major live events, serving as total producer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics, and has held production roles for the Beijing Olympics, the G20 Hangzhou Summit and other large-scale performances. Her credits further include Article 20 (2024).
