Biography
Paolo Graziosi (1940–2022) was an Italian stage and film actor. Born in Rimini, he trained at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia after being rejected by the Silvio D'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts. He made his film debut in 1962 and achieved early recognition for his role in Marco Bellocchio's China is Near (1967).
Graziosi's breakthrough in theatre came in 1965 as Mercutio in Franco Zeffirelli's production of Romeo and Juliet. He later co-founded the GranTeatro company and appeared in numerous films and television productions, often in supporting roles. Notable screen credits include Il Divo (2008) as Aldo Moro, Leopardi (2014) as Carlo Antici, Pinocchio (2019) as Mastro Ciliegia, and Three Floors (2021).
