Biography
Park Sung-woong (also credited as Park Seong-ung) is a South Korean actor. He made his screen debut in the 1997 gangster comedy film No. 3.
He is known for film roles including Lee Joong-gu in New World (2013) and supporting parts in Operation Chromite (2016), The Spy Gone North (2018) and The Closet (2020). On television he has appeared as Nam Tae-il in Snowdrop (2021), Kwon Seok-joo in The Killing Vote (2023) and Kim Myeong-gil in Bloodhounds (2023). He is cast as Kim Yu-sin in the forthcoming historical series The Great King Munmu (2026).
Park graduated in law from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He married actress Shin Eun-jung in 2008; the couple met while filming the 2007 series The Legend.
