Biography
Patricia Field is an American costume designer, stylist and fashion designer based in New York City. She studied at New York University and opened her first boutique in Greenwich Village in 1966, which operated for decades as a downtown fashion landmark.
She is known for her costume design on the television series Sex and the City (1998–2004), for which she won an Emmy Award and received multiple nominations, and the film The Devil Wears Prada (2006), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Costume Design. Other credits include the films Sex and the City (2008), Sex and the City 2 (2010) and Second Act (2018), and the series Emily in Paris (2020).
