Biography
Patricia Summersett is an American-Canadian actress and voice artist. She was born on 15 March 1982 in L'Anse, Michigan, and raised in Upper Michigan. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Concordia University in Montreal and a Master's in Classical Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She also studied at the Moscow Art Theatre and the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver. Before acting, she was a competitive ice dancer and Quebec sectional champion in 2002.
Summersett is known for her film role as the Consoler in mother! (2017). Her voice work includes Princess Zelda in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) and subsequent games in the franchise. Television credits include The Bold Type (2017) as Dr Elysa Hendricks, Three Pines (2022) as Angela Blake, and Star Trek: Discovery (2024) as Tahal. She has also appeared in The Smurfs 2 (2013) and Transplant (2020).
In addition to screen and stage work, Summersett is a singer and songwriter with the band Summersett, based in Montreal.
