Biography
Patrick d'Assumçao is a French actor born on 1 June 1959 in Nantes.
He began his career in theatre in the early 1990s, appearing in productions including works by Alfred de Musset, Agatha Christie and Jean-Paul Sartre, often under directors such as Marc Lesage. He made his film debut in the 2010s and gained recognition for his role as Henri in Stranger by the Lake (2013), for which he received a César Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
His other notable screen credits include Diary of a Chambermaid (2015), I Lost My Body (2019) as the voice of Gigi, Jeanne du Barry (2023) as Choiseul, and The Taste of Things (2023) as Grimaud.
