Biography
Patrick Schumacker is a television writer, producer and director. He is co-showrunner and executive producer of the ABC series Abbott Elementary (2021–), working alongside Justin Halpern and series creator Quinta Brunson. He has also directed an episode of the series.
With Halpern, Schumacker co-created the animated series Harley Quinn (2019–) and its spin-off Kite Man: Hell Yeah! (2024). His other credits include writing episodes of iZombie (2015), Cougar Town (2009) and Powerless (2017), and co-creating the series Surviving Jack (2014) and $#! My Dad Says (2010). He has received multiple Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series for his work on Abbott Elementary*.
