Biography
Paul De Meo (1953–2018) was an American screenwriter and producer who worked in film, television and video games. He frequently collaborated with Danny Bilson, with whom he formed Pet Fly Productions after meeting at California State University, San Bernardino.
Their credits include the cult film Trancers (1985) and its sequels, The Rocketeer (1991), the 1990 television series The Flash, and several television programmes such as Viper and The Sentinel. De Meo also wrote for video games, including entries in the James Bond and Red Faction series. His screenplay for Da 5 Bloods, co-written with Bilson, was released posthumously in 2020, directed by Spike Lee.
