Biography
Paul Leonard-Morgan is a Scottish composer of film, television and video game scores. He trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 1995.
His first film score, for the short Reflections upon the Origin of the Pineapple (2000), won a Scottish BAFTA. He went on to score the BBC series Spooks and the feature films Limitless (2011) and Dredd (2012). Later credits include Boston Strangler (2023), the series Tales from the Loop (2020, in collaboration with Philip Glass), and both the 2019 documentary and 2025 feature versions of Last Breath. He has also composed for video games including Cyberpunk 2077.
Leonard-Morgan is known for blending orchestral and electronic elements. He has received BAFTA, Emmy and Ivor Novello nominations and has worked with artists including Belle & Sebastian and Snow Patrol.
