Biography
Paul Pavel (born Paul Louis Kriatchko) was a French actor. He was born on 17 July 1920 in the 7th arrondissement of Paris and died on 2 December 2012 in Saint-Jean-du-Gard.
He appeared in numerous films from the late 1950s onwards, including Vivre sa vie (1962) as the journalist, Le Trou (1960), The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964), The Bride Wore Black (1968) as the mechanic, Stolen Kisses (1968) and The Apartment (1996) as the jeweller. He also took roles in television series and was credited at times as Paul Favel or Paul Kriatchko.
