Biography
Paul Rice is a British animator, visual artist, director and writer. He worked on Cartoon Network’s The Amazing World of Gumball for six years across more than 200 episodes in multiple roles, including layout artist, previs and layout supervisor, assistant director and writer.
As a writer he contributed episodes in seasons 3 and 6. He also co-directed eleven episodes of series 6 and handled much of the show’s live-action material. Earlier, Rice directed and wrote the short animated film Let Me Come In (2011), which earned a nomination for a BAFTA New Talent award.
