Biography
Peg Fenwick was an American screenwriter and playwright. Born Margaret Fenwick McCray on 9 November 1907 in New York City, she worked under the names Peggy Thompson and Peg Padover, and also contributed to the French film industry.
Her screenplays include Whirlpool of Desire (1935) and King of the Newsboys (1938). She adapted the novel by Edna Lee and Harry Lee for the screenplay of All That Heaven Allows (1955), directed by Douglas Sirk and starring Jane Wyman and Rock Hudson. She also wrote the stage play Meet the World (1950).
Fenwick married Saul K. Padover in 1957. She died on 5 November 1987 in Fulton, Missouri.
