Biography
Perrie Balthazar is a British writer and producer for television. She began her career in journalism at the Northampton Chronicle and Echo before moving into scriptwriting, contributing to series including Hollyoaks (2008–2014), EastEnders (2010–2013) and Coronation Street (2014–2018). She has also written episodes of Ackley Bridge and worked as a storyliner on Emmerdale.
Balthazar co-created, co-wrote and served as executive producer on the BBC series Phoenix Rise (2023–), alongside Matt Evans. She wrote teleplays for two episodes of Bad Sisters (2022–2024). She has received one win and four nominations.
