Biography
Peter Bartlett is an American actor born on 28 August 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. He is known for his work in film, television and theatre, including the voice role of Lawrence in the Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog (2009).
On television he portrayed Nigel Bartholomew-Smythe (and later his cousin Neville) in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live from 1991 until its cancellation in 2013. He has also appeared in episodes of Law & Order (1999), Ed (2001), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001) and Only Murders in the Building (2021–2023).
Bartlett has appeared in several films, including Jeffrey (1995), Meet the Parents (2000) and The Producers (2005). On Broadway his roles have included Pluto in The Frogs (2004), Underling in The Drowsy Chaperone (2007), Sebastian in the 2013 revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, and the Head Waiter in the 2016 revival of She Loves Me.
