Biography
Peter Brant is an American film producer. He served as producer on The Homesman (2014), directed by and starring Tommy Lee Jones, and on Paint (2023). He was executive producer on Basquiat (1996) and Pollock (2000).
Brant was born on 1 March 1947 in Queens, New York City. His interest in art led to early involvement in film production, including credits on L’Amour (1972) and Andy Warhol’s Bad (1977). He has also worked as an industrialist, art collector and magazine publisher.
