Biography
Peter Chiarelli is an American screenwriter. He was born in Ft. Lewis, Tacoma, Washington.
Chiarelli wrote the screenplay for the romantic comedy The Proposal (2009) and the story for Now You See Me 2 (2016). He co-wrote the screenplay for Crazy Rich Asians (2018) with Adele Lim. He is credited with the screen story for the upcoming film GOAT (2026). Earlier in his career he worked as a producer on several films, including Eagle Eye (2008).
