Biography
Peter Gowen is an Irish actor from County Cork. His screen credits include the role of Leddy in The Butcher Boy (1997), Brother Barnabas in Breakfast on Pluto (2005), William Peto in The Tudors (2008), and Mr O'Reilly in Noble (2014). He has also appeared in Love/Hate (2010–2011) as Pat and in episodes of The Bill.
On stage, Gowen performed in Brian Friel's Dancing at Lughnasa at Dublin's Gate Theatre and appeared on Broadway in a revival of Ibsen's A Doll's House. He has written and performed his own one-man plays, including The Chronicles of Oggle.
