Biography
Peter Nashel is an American composer. He studied at the Tanglewood Institute, the Eastman School of Music and Wesleyan University, from which he graduated in 1988. He is the founder and principal of the music production company duotone audio group.
Nashel received his first screen credit as composer for the 2001 feature The Deep End. He has since scored numerous films and television series, including I, Tonya (2017), Book Club (2018), Carriers (2009), New York, I Love You (2008), The Night Listener (2006) and the series Marco Polo (2014–2016). His television and documentary work includes Rubicon, Lie to Me and Totally Under Control (2020).
