Biography
Peter O. Almond is a film and television producer. He produced Thirteen Days (2000), directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Kevin Costner, and The Baby-Sitters Club (1995).
Earlier in his career Almond worked in public television, producing reports for the Emmy-winning WNET series The 51st State. He has produced other films including The Photographer (2000) and Virtual JFK: Vietnam If Kennedy Had Lived (2008), and developed international co-productions such as the Russian-language feature Raspad (1990).
Almond has a background in urban planning; he taught city planning at Yale and worked in Mayor John Lindsay’s administration before entering film and television.
