Biography
Phil Dusenberry (1936–2007) was an American writer and advertising executive. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 1984 film The Natural, directed by Barry Levinson and starring Robert Redford, with Roger Towne.
Dusenberry was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended Midwood High School and Emory & Henry College. He spent most of his career at the BBDO advertising agency, rising to chairman of BBDO North America, and created campaigns including the Pepsi slogan “The Choice of a New Generation”.
