Biography
Philip Levens is an American screenwriter and television producer. He grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin.
Levens wrote and produced on Smallville (2001–2003), contributing as writer, story editor and co-producer. He created and was showrunner of the Syfy miniseries Ascension (2014). His other credits include writing for Knight Rider (2008) and R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour (2011), and executive producing South Beach (2006) alongside Jennifer Lopez. He has sold more than twenty pilots to networks including ABC, USA and Fox.
