Biography
Philippe de Chérisey (1923–1985), who performed under the stage name Amédée, was a French supporting actor. He trained at the René Simon drama school from 1946 and appeared in a number of films during the 1950s and 1960s.
His credits include the role of Francis Gouard in Forbidden Games (1952), Frédéric in Le Plaisir (1952) and Marcel Langlois in The Long Absence (1961). He also worked as a radio humourist and writer.
