Biography
Philippe Ogouz (1939–2019) was a French actor, voice actor and producer. Born in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, he began his career in the late 1950s with appearances in theatre, film and television, including early roles in series such as Le théâtre de la jeunesse.
He is known for voice work including Tintin in Tintin and the Temple of the Sun (1969) and additional voices in Fantastic Planet (1973). On-screen credits include de La Motte in Scout Toujours (1985) and the president of the revision trial in Counter Investigation (2007). He also worked extensively in French dubbing and as a stage director.
Ogouz served as president of the Adami from 2005 to 2013 and directed theatre productions, one of which received a Molière award.
