Biography
Pierce Oliver Brewer, Jr., also credited as Captain Kidd Brewer Jr. or Capt. Kidd Brewer Jr., was an American actor. He appeared in two films directed by James Cameron: as Lou in Piranha II: The Spawning (1982) and as Lew Finler in The Abyss (1989).
Brewer was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and worked as a land developer and professional underwater diver. He adopted the name Capt. Kidd after his father, Julius "Kidd" Brewer. The Abyss was dedicated to his memory following his death in 1990.
